COVID - 19
Hey All. Welcome to the Blog page once again. A Big Thank you to all of you for making 'Fickle Emotions' a huge Success. While the series will continue, Just thought to take a break and write something about the Pandemic which has Isolated, Quarantined and Locked down virtually every street of the World.
Saying that, While a lot of Serious things have been said and written, just thought to pen down something fun for all the Worried Minds to enjoy.
A small anecdote on the 19 Subjects we had learnt and the way Covid - 19 has bought them all in front of Us.
1. English - SARS, MERS and HIV were easy to pronounce, Coronavirus aka Orthocoronavirinae taught a whole new word to the World.
2. Geography - WUHAAN was discovered !!!
3. Mathematics - The daily Statistics of Cases found...Positive, Negative, Quarantined and what not has the world playing around in Numbers.
4. Economics - The amount of losses due to Business Shutdowns and the Stock Market Collapse has led the Economists tumble in their analyses.
5. Science - No Antidote so far. Science Has let itself and the Billions down...and beneath Masks!!
6. History - A sudden surge in the earlier Epidemics and the Solace that even this shall pass has a Optimistic feeling to it...or is it??
7. Civics - Social Distancing and 5 PM claps along with living under Section 144 has just rejuvenated the Civic Books.
8. Environmental Studies - No one is talking about planting Trees, Instead use an Alcoholic Sanitizer to curtail the spread!!! Cheers!!
9. Algebra - (x*y+12) spreads the Virus. The solution : (x-y+14) on a sunday!!!
10. Moral Science - Distancing, Namaste and Quarantine are the new epitome of Morality.
11. Foreign Languages - Haha. Let the languages and the Foreigners be at the Airport!!
12. Sociology - 5 PM at the Balcony and looking at your neighbours Clap is the new way to live in a Civilised Society.
13. Political Science - Parliaments being adjourned, Ministers being quarantined, and India realised that Kanika Kapoor is also a Singer!!
14. Commerce - Debit what comes in - The Foreign returns; Credit what goes out - The immigrants from Mumbai!!!
15. Music - Go Corona, Corona Go is the biggest craze after Dhinchak Pooja.
16. Marketing - The Social Media updates of people clapping and clashing their utensils whilst being in a huge group has been the Worst Irony of COVID Marketing. Never knew that Corona attacks the Common Sense first!!
17. Sports - Olympics 2020!!! Ahh Tokyo...Let's breathe..ala beneath a Mask!! We don't need Games for now; Rather Quit playing Games in my Mask!!
18. Aviation - Kingfisher, Jet and now Corona!!! 2020 has indeed let a lot of people Grounded!!
19. Human Resource - From Office Picnics to Hand Sanitizers, from talking about March Appraisals to Paid Leaves, The HR profile has had the Most Dynamic Upgrade!!
I know and I understand the Seriousness that Our entire Globe is going through due to this unforeseen Pandemic. While Working from home has been tumultuous, it is also the most powerful tool to break the chain and get rid of this Virus that has not only claimed Thousands of Lives, but also shaken up the Civil Societies once and for all.
