Mumbai Rains

Hey Guys!! Welcome to the Blogpage again!

So Monsoon has finally arrived in Mumbai after a almost No Show in June. Whilst we all Mumbaikars need Rains as much as the entire Globe, Our Miseries also raise the ugly head!!

Here's a Frustration of being a Mumbaikar in 80mm rainfall;

1. It Rains.

2. It Rains directly in the Eyes.

3. It Rains just to fill in our shoes with Water.

4. It Rains at Night to ensure we are stranded at the Railway Station to go back; The Boss reaches office in his Car; And Hey....It doesn't rain the entire day then!!

5. The rain arrives early in the morning so as to make our travelling JOYFUL; As if HOLI os being played by the Clouds from above.

6. The Roads in Monsoon.....Well Lemme not even Go There.

7. BMC...Well let me not go there EITHER!!

8. Social Media is full of BMC and Mumbai Police Post asking Mumbaikars to Hibernate; The Media well...still shows footage of a decade back!!

9. The MET is as good a Forecaster as My Watchman. My Watchman predicts a Dhoni Century before every Worldcup Match!!

10. Mumbai is Racist in Rains; Central is Low on Rail Tracks; Western on Highways; Harbour is well Navi Mumbai!!

11. Mumbaikars Pay Taxes; More than anyone else in India; Just to have a swim in their Homes for couple of Months!!

12. Poor Mumbaikars go to Igatpuri; Rich go to Panchgani; and rest 99.98% are stuck in a long Lonavala Jam!!

13. The Best Investment in Rains is UBER and OLA; their rates skyrocket to an extent of a brand new car's Emi!!

14. The Best Way to Gauge the Intensity of Rain is your DTH provider; Isko Monsoon mein Laga Dala toh ...well Wifi se hi ab Kaam Chalaa!!

15. Mumbai Rains are the only thing on earth that can fail Google Maps; with every 10 mins, you find yourself on a Congested Route!!

And so on and so forth!!

With a Cutting and Kanda Bhajji on our plate; My fellow Mumbaikars.....Even This Shall Pass!!

Have fun till it Lasts; Monsoons are No Longer Fun. Just a great way to enjoy the clean Concrete Jungle, some roads and a bit of Greenery.

Spirit of Mumbai will absorb them all, Spirit of Mumbaikar is ....well....Impatient!!
