A midnight Tryst with GST

GST is here and here to stay...aha with a few altercations, a bit of opposition and a truck load of Confusion!!!
Welcome to India's Latest Tryst with Destiny!!
With the entire nation as confused as I am, a small write up on the latest blockbuster of Modism...GST!!!
1. Hailed as the biggest Tax reform of Independent India, India knows virtually nothing about It!!
2. Prices to shoot up or down, we Indians are still gonna shop!!!
3. The businessmen are worried with respect to the challans. The only people not worried about the Challans are the RTO officers (kaata hi kab tha)
4. My C.A friends have finally gathered the courage to dream...Dream big!!! Returns toh hai nahin...filing mandatory hai lekin!!!
5. The opposition parties have boycotted GST, just as they boycotted Demonitisation, surgical strike, election results, their assemblies, voters, people, literacy, sanity, common sense, politics, country......

6. People on FB have started posting post GST restaurant bills stating the rise in costs!!! Alas these were the same guys who used to post extra service tax wala hotel bills as well!!
7.  Congress still feels GST is Gandhi Sales Tax!!
8. My wife somehow resembles GST...samay lagega samajhne mein..fir automatic adjust ho jaunga!!!
9. GST says one nation...one Tax...and Jammu & Kashmir isn't included in it!!! Am I reading too much or is this a cause of Concern!!
10. Congress Introduced GST...BJP disposed....Modi re introduced GST....Congress opposed!!! A Bill that all wish to pay for but no ones paying!!! Miss my college days!!
11. For a change...the salaried class in India are laughing at the business class!!! Never thought A TDS deducted salary would be a bliss!!
12. Chartered Accountant associations of India will have a say in appointing India's New Coach: BCCI
13. In UP, the GST is commonly referred as GAU SEVA TAX!!!
14. Amidst the GST chaos, Anna Hazare is still pondering on whatever happened to Jan Lokpal wala Bill!!!
15. Pappu in the meanwhile is missing from the scene...perhaps taking tuitions to learn the spelling of GST!!

All said and done, a half baked but a visionary move by the government to move our nation further in a direction that can only lead to the ever impending status of being an economic Super power!!
From a thought process to an iconic implementation in such a short span of time, India under a powerful leader is the Best Selling story today!!
As they say ....MUBARAK HO, GST HUA HAI!!!
